This is the very first time we do something like this.

Dimas Andrea is one of our best friends. He is an architect in the head, and yet, a musician in the heart ­– he writes songs and sings it.

As of April to three-months onward this year, he is in Bandung and he wants to do something for the music, his music. Along with Erpedana and Wahyu Dwi Arifianto, we try to make this Dimas Andrea’s record.

We set a studio in one of our chambers at Erpedana Mecca. All the process right there – take vocal, take guitar sound, fill the bass, make drums sample, mix then master it.

It’s not only the record that we prepare intensely, we take it further, we also make the pictorial, the profile, the packaging and the video. As well as we’re gonna bring it to another higher level. We don’t know how far we can do, yet we try it seriously…

It was only last Saturday – 17 April 2010, we – Erpedana – were gathered with the so–called lovely kids from Mitra Muslim – a tiny pesantren located in Awiligar Bandung – celebrated our wonderful fifth anniversary.

Everyone here at Erpedana came along. We’re really grateful with opportunity like this. For so many reasons, it feels right, to contribute positively to the community.

It’s pretty usual kenduri actually. We started with cutting tumpeng and gave it to the principal of Mitra Muslim, prayed to God and ate the food.  And, that’s it…

Remembering the old days - Erpedana's birth, 15 April 2005

As of today, 15 April 2010 — we are 5 years old and we thank God so very much for where we are right now.

It was 5 years ago today, three people gathered to start the creative work, making photo & video wedding documentation — and that was how Erpedana started its journey. The casts of main–characters remain the same than it does today.

One of our friends said this to us the other days; “company with visions & missions is just as someone with passion”. It’s quite something to struggle… yet not easy as of said “just bla… bla… bla…” — it needs more practical things, and great thinking as well.

The experiences we’ve had to date are wonderful – in diversity meanings. We built this company from scratch, and the things we’ve encountered so far are just raw – most of them came from situations we’re dealing with – and yet, millions-of-millions experiences make us learn so much from it.

The clients we’ve been working with are also wonderful. Whether it’s individual client or giant multi-national companies, thanks for the good cooperation. You are more than welcome at Erpedana.

The people among us are just wonder-full, too — families, friends, vendors, colleagues. These people are some of the strengths for this company for 5 years, we create something – they manufacture something, we need something – they provide something, we want something – they give something, and bring it all together like we never done before. We thank you for the never-ending support for us.

Erpedana and its 5^th anniversary, in one hand, clearly it’s an important point for us standing here – it’s our milestone. In other hand, this point, these define of Erpedana’s thought and visions are sense of our exciting future.

And, that’s it.
